With over 340,000 senior care options in our database, Carelike provides the most robust search technology in the industry. At our core, we are a data & technology company but in our hearts, we are here to improve senior care decisions and outcomes. By extension, we have become the most widely used senior care database and thus the most efficient way for senior care providers to market their services.

Our mission is to develop and maintain the nation’s most comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date senior care database and user-friendly search function. Not only do our own site users access the database but we license our data and build search portals for organizations whose stakeholders and end-users need a resource such as ours. We refer to these organizations as our Channel Partners.

Tom Buckley

Vice President, General Manager

Tom brings to Carelike over 29 years of executive management and technology leadership experience with a solid background in management consulting, corporate strategy and technology-led business transformations. Prior to joining Carelike, Tom left a Director level position at Microsoft to engage in a variety of Management Consulting Projects where he worked with Fortune 500 companies to optimize their Supply Chain Practices. Before his role at Microsoft, between 1992 and 2012, Tom founded, built and then sold his interest in four different companies, all based in the Atlanta area. Tom moved to the Atlanta area from Tokyo, Japan in 1991 where he had been running the Tokyo Office of C*ATS software, a Palo Alto based software company. Tom joined C*ATS after a 2 year stint with Accenture where he worked as a mainframe programmer out of their San Francisco and Chicago offices. Tom graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Double Major in Economics and Japanese. Tom and his wife of 23 years, Laurie, have 2 sons, Sean and Michael who are both enrolled at the University of South Carolina. Tom enjoys running, swimming, biking, hiking and sand volleyball in his free time.

Emita Clark

Data Quality Analyst

Emita brings to the table her professional skillset from past experience in healthcare and data analysis. Before moving to Atlanta, she worked as a Healthcare Tech in both the ICU, and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic, of a major healthcare system in Charlotte, NC. In her role as Data Quality Analyst, Emita is responsible for data hygiene, verification of licenses, managing profile claims, and customer support. Emita has a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Sciences, with a minor in Business Administration. She has one son and in her spare time enjoys mixed martial arts.

Larry Eisenstein

Senior Software Developer

Larry is a software developer with 10 years of experience with various development languages and platforms. He also has a very strong interest in Healthcare related IT issues and has worked towards improving quality of care for hospitals and home health agencies. He is a strong advocate for clean, clutter free design and is always looking for simple solutions that reject unnecessary complexity.
Larry graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is also working towards a PhD in Google Searching. He enjoys casual gaming, soccer, and meeting up with other developers to talk shop.

Shawn Hollenbaugh

Database & Client Services Manager

Shawn Hollenbaugh brings a diverse background to bear in his role as Database and Client Services Manager. Having previously managed creative production departments, ecommerce fulfillment warehouses and the database management/QA for product packaging for an international brand, Shawn is capable of wearing many hats. Possessing a degree in advertising from the University of Florida, Shawn also brings a marketing focus with a concentration on brand integrity to every task. Shawn manages both the international and domestic data QA teams however; he personally handles domestic client support for Carelike, assisting licensees and providers. He oversees the management of greater database hygiene and the verification of licenses when approving provider profiles as well as staying up to date on upcoming changes to state and federal regulations.

Grant Jackson

Creative Director

Grant’s array of experience has seamlessly equipped him for the role of Creative Director at Carelike. With backgrounds as wide in scope from Marketing Manager at a medical education company to the roles of graphic designer, project manager, and brand director at an advertising & media company – Grant is able to bring a strategic yet creative direction to the company. Grant is not only responsible for the user experience on Carelike’s many portals but the portals of our many channel partners – and any print or digital graphic work. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, videography, and motor-sport driving.

Stephanie Jackson

Marketing Manager

Stephanie brings a decade of health related marketing and product management experience to the Carelike team. During her career, Stephanie's efforts have covered re-branding, product to market campaigns, catalog creation, website organization, copywriting, marketing communications, and both brand and product advertising. Stephanie received her degree from Auburn University in Biomedical Sciences while also working as a Pharmacy Technician. In her spare time she enjoys renovation projects and watching WWII documentaries.

Mario Netto

Vice President, Technology and Operations

Mario Netto is the Vice President of Operations and Technology for Carelike, where he oversees the development, design and data management teams. Mario brings over 19 years of technical and management experience to the organization gained through various positions at Georgia Pacific, CareMedic (acquired by Optum) and most recently at Streamline Health. He works hard on staying up to date on technology and on fostering an innovative and goal driven culture for his teams that inspire job satisfaction and productivity.
Mario earned a B.A. in Business Administration and is a graduate of the NIIT Computer Science program. He and his wife, Marie, are the proud parents of three children. In his spare time, Mario enjoys coaching his children's soccer teams and cooking, traveling and hanging out with his family.

Katy Weisbrodt

Provider Relations & Business Development

Katy is the Provider Relations expert at Carelike. She is responsible for helping Carelike providers enrich their business profiles in order to gain maximum exposure to the database’s professional users. Katy has a keen eye for detail and brings seven years of marketing and sales experience to the team.

Carelike values itself on being the most comprehensive and transparent search directory available. This means, we make efforts to list all known providers and their information, not just providers who purchase a subscription and add enhanced details. Most of our data is pulled from freely available state licensing data sources. This information is then aggregated and made available through our search technology. Unlike many other senior services search databases, we list all known providers and not just providers with whom we are contracted.
Carelike supports the latest versions of most desktop browsers, smartphones, and tablets. To take advantage of all the features of our site, try upgrading to the most recent version of your preferred internet browser. However, for best results, we recommend Google Chrome. Users with unsupported browsers may find that some features on our site do not function, or pages won't load. All browsers must have cookies and JavaScript enabled to use our search feature.
Carelike aggregates and maintains basic information about licensed senior service providers in the U.S. from several hundred sources at the federal, state and local levels as well as through senior service membership organizations. Basic information about non-licensed providers is collected from private sources. Detailed information is collected when senior service providers complete Provider Basic Listing or complete an Enhanced Service Profile, outlining the care and services that they offer.
We have staff dedicated to updating the data on a daily basis; however, due to the sheer volume of data to review we estimate the database is currently fully refreshed 2-3 times a year.
Carelike is an Atlanta-based information and technology company that specializes in the collection and distribution of high-quality and current data about licensed professionals and senior serving organizations across the U.S for older Americans, caregivers and their families. We license our data and search tools to leading corporate, non-profit and governmental websites. We are a mission driven company dedicated to improving the outcomes of senior care decisions by making the best information available to consumers and their advocates.
Data is obtained from several hundred sources at federal, state, and local levels in addition to partnerships established with professional associations. Each category may be procured from a different set of sources depending on whether the service is licensed in a particular state or not.
Carelike also performs regular outreach to service providers so they can add their business profile if it falls within the categories we currently maintain. Businesses can be added at no charge to the Carelike database. Before submissions from businesses are published in the Carelike database, the information is reviewed by the quality assurance department.
